Media Training
Training company spokespeople to talk to the media is an element that is often ignored by technical companies for a couple of reasons. Firstly, they think it’s going to be terribly expensive and secondly, they don’t think they will need it.
But every media opportunity should be seen as a great chance to raise the profile of the company and armed with a few skills even the most taciturn engineer or indiscrete company executive can become a focused spokesperson who delivers the right information to the journalist in the right way.
Media training from Technical Publicity is focused entirely at the business to business trade and technical media. The training is not intended to equip a Member of Parliament to evade questions from Jeremy Paxman on Newsnight but is put together to arm a spokesperson with specialist information about the journalists they are dealing with and how to deliver a coherent story to maximise coverage and build relationships.
Technical Publicity’s media training can be delivered 1-1 or in small groups of up to eight people.
- A half-day media preparation course for between 1-8 people costs £750
- A full day course for between 1-8 people which includes media preparation, interview technique and crisis PR costs £1500
